There was also a book that explained the process of making frames, so I referred to these materials and actually went to a furniture store to learn how to make handmade furniture. So I started making clothes while attending a fashion school, and went beyond reforming clothes to designing and making my own clothes.
I didn’t have a specific goal of going into fashion or working in the field; I just started because I enjoyed it. At first, I mainly made simple T-shirts, but later I tried making hats, scarves, and pants with leftover fabric. I also made socks, dresses, jackets, and other items, and I loved the whole process. Trying on these clothes gave me a second reason to design clothes. It was the fact that I could make clothes that fit my body and compensate for its flaws. I became interested in interior design when I started living alone in college.
