Reason for applying

I have a passion for cultural activities, including performances. Although I majored in public administration in college, I actively pursued and developed my passion for cultural activities through various social activities, including club activities. I have experience planning and hosting numerous performances through a club called Group Sound. I applied to CJ E&M because I am confident that I can further develop my passion and experience at CJ.
I aspire to develop music content by combining my major in administration and music. I would like to promote diverse and innovative music content projects through the planning skills I have acquired through my major and club activities and my innate musical sense. As we have seen recently with the global popularity of a Korean singer’s music video, I believe that music has a very strong influence. I believe that CJ E&M is the place where this influence can be further expanded to enable us to advance to the global stage.
CJ E&M, whose corporate philosophy is to take the lead in various cultural projects and promote Korean cultural content to the world, is a true cultural enterprise that discovers the true value of culture and helps it grow and spread throughout the world. I want to learn about music at CJ E&M, which has a genuine love for Korean cultural content, and grow into a global music businessman.

 

 

College life and competencies

While majoring in public administration at university, I was able to gain professional knowledge related to planning, organization, and policy. I was able to fulfill my passion and love for cultural activities through various social activities, including club activities. At school, I organized and held performances through a club called Group Sound, and outside of school, I gained various experiences such as conducting and accompanying a choir. These experiences allowed me to fulfill my passion for music.
Among my many activities in college, one that stands out in particular is my internship at XX. This internship allowed me to build my skills in content creation. At the time, I was working in the smart home development team and was in charge of developing content for the active use of tablets. I began to think about ideas for expanding the customer base. Since the main customer base for existing products was somewhat limited to housewives, I presented various creative ideas for developing pads that could be used by the whole family. Among them, my proposal for an idol pad, inspired by the huge profits generated by Korean idol stars riding the wave of the Korean Wave, was very well received by my colleagues.

 

 

Extracurricular activities and achievements

In college, I ran a music club called Group Sound. For me, Group Sound was a creative and liberating space where I could express my passion for music and develop my skills. In particular, I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I planned regular performances and realized my own stage. Every step of the process, from voluntarily planning performances, writing scripts, and securing sponsors to arranging sound equipment, was a valuable experience that became my own asset.
