Is it okay to write about my life story in my education job application?

In this blog post, we will look at the significance of a self-introduction letter that candidly reveals a difficult upbringing in an application for an education job.

My upbringing

I am the head of my family. My parents always had a happy family and lived harmoniously, but my mother passed away in a traffic accident when I was in middle school. I have three younger siblings, all two years apart, so I had to take care of them on my own. I had to take on the role of a mother at a young age, but I never resented it or felt regretful. I always took care of my younger siblings first, feeding them and washing the dishes, and in the meantime, I had to prepare meals for my father, who always worked hard for us. Of course, my father felt sorry for me having to take care of my younger siblings all by myself, but I knew that if even my father stopped working, the whole family would suffer, so I tried to always put on a cheerful face without showing any signs of hardship. However, raising three younger siblings as a junior high school student was so overwhelming that I often fell asleep in class and asked my teachers to let me leave school early to take care of my siblings. Naturally, my grades dropped and I lost my ability to concentrate.
After struggling through junior high school, I became a high school student and was able to take care of my youngest sibling, and my life became somewhat stable. However, my youngest sibling was still very young, so I had to take care of most things, and I had less and less time to invest in my studies. However, I didn’t want to give up on my dreams. I didn’t want to give up the foundation that would allow me to achieve my dreams, so I focused relentlessly on my studies. Our financial situation wasn’t terrible, and my father continued to earn money, so I didn’t think I could use my siblings as an excuse to delay my studies. I also decided that I needed to divide the household chores more thoroughly than before and not treat my younger siblings as if they were children. First, I made my second brother take good care of my third sister. Of course, I understood that he wanted to play, but I apologized and explained that it was impossible due to our family circumstances. I also persuaded my third child to take good care of my youngest sister, even though I was younger than him. Above all, I told him to take care of my youngest sister’s commute to school. I studied hard whenever I had time.
However, just as I was about to enroll in college, my father passed away. My father died of overwork while working for us, and my family was left with no future. But I had to get back on my feet quickly. Now that I was the head of the family, I took a leave of absence from school and started working part-time. I had to find a job, but I was young and lacked social experience, so I thought it would be better to work several part-time jobs to earn more money. So, I worked hard for two years while my second child was graduating, and then my younger sibling and I enrolled in college together. I thought about putting off my studies, but I decided that I had to graduate quickly so that I could get a job and send my other siblings to college. Since then, I have graduated, and all of my siblings are now doing well in college. Still, I have a lot of work ahead of me, so I believe I must always do my best.

Motto and philosophy

Albert Einstein once said, “There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
I could say that I am living my life as though nothing is a miracle.
I could say that I am living a very difficult life since both of my parents passed away. However, I don’t think so. Although I lost my parents, I gained a close bond with my siblings that I can share with no one else. This is always a miracle to me, and I will continue to create miracles in the future.

Career history (or experience that demonstrates work ability)

I originally wanted to become a teacher, but I don’t have enough time to prepare for the appointment. However, I didn’t give up on my dream and started attending school and working as a tutor in order to get a job in teaching. While working at the academy for nearly five years, I taught classes ranging from high school students to students repeating a year, and I learned a lot about preparing for classes and the qualities necessary to be a good teacher. In order to always maintain my pride as a teacher, I have always been thoroughly prepared and have taken every precaution to avoid making mistakes. I believe that this is related to your company’s work in that it helps people achieve their dreams. I would like to play a role in helping people achieve their dreams.

Motivation for applying and aspirations

Not only in the teaching profession, but in all jobs, it is important to have a good image and be able to show your abilities well. I applied for this position because I want to work for a company that provides high-quality education and has a high level of pride. While working for an airline, I want to help people who are working to make others’ trips more comfortable by providing them with more information and paying more attention to them.
If I am hired by your company, I will strive to provide higher quality lessons and achieve better results. And, as always, I will work together with everyone as a family to create miracles.
