Motivation and enthusiasm
“○○ Convenience Store. Now an indispensable place for everyday people.”
This morning, I looked into the ○○ convenience store. In the morning, they make breakfast for college students. Before class, they hand out water bottles to friends rushing to class and provide coffee for their favorite teachers. At lunchtime, it fills the stomachs of poor and hungry students, and it also serves as a small restaurant for people who are lonely and have no friends to eat with. It provides snacks for high school students, meals for college students, and a place of rest and meeting for adults. All this at the lowest prices in the world. In short, ○○ Convenience Store has become an indispensable place for the common people. And for me, too, ○○ Convenience Store is an indispensable place. It is not just a typical convenience store, but a place that boasts the most delicious food, the lowest prices, and the most generous portions among convenience stores, which is why I always find myself drawn to it and why it has become a necessity for me. That is why I decided to apply to ○○ Convenience Store. Because it is an indispensable place for me and for other people, I want to make it available in more places and in more diverse locations, and develop it into a store that can provide more and richer food and products at lower prices and with greater safety. That is why I decided to apply. And if I join your company, what I can show you is “passion that comes from love.” There is a saying that “you can’t follow what you love.” You can’t follow what you love. I especially like the food and gimbap at XX Company, and I like the atmosphere and system at XX Company the most. If I get to work at my favorite place, my passion will burn like fire. By working at a place I love, I want to give 100%, no, 120% of my ability. Thank you very much.
Growth and school life
“Let’s do more.”
I have always had many interests, and I have lived my life pursuing them. In elementary school, I loved sports and was a track and field athlete. However, just like in a drama, I suffered a serious leg injury and couldn’t run as fast as I used to. I realized that this wasn’t the path for me, so I started studying in junior high school, which I had never done before. What I loved was my friendships. In elementary school, I became close with my seniors in the sports club, and when I entered middle school and then high school, I met many different people, which was also a lot of fun for me. In particular, I saw friends who had typical concerns, not because they were struggling with sports, but because they needed something that school could provide, such as welfare, and I began to suggest solutions to these issues one by one. Before I knew it, I was the student council president. I actively made friends and was very sociable so that I would not have any enemies, and I listened to my friends’ concerns and coordinated with the school to create good welfare policies and plant trees where necessary. As a result, when I graduated from middle school, I received a plaque for my contributions to the school. With that confidence, I entered high school and wanted to find a hobby outside of studying, so I formed an orchestra club with my friends. We practiced once a week, playing our instruments and working on our teamwork so that we could perform together. When I entered university, I became the vice president of the student council and worked hard to protect the rights of university students.
Due to my personality, I dislike sitting still. I have always been the most active person in any group. I am someone who speaks for others and works for the convenience of others. I believe that this personality trait is a good trait for a sales representative.
Aspirations after joining the company
“I will be a person who learns, practices, and learns again.”
If I join the company, I will become a person who never stops learning, practicing, and learning again. As a new employee, there will be so much for me to learn. I will have to read and prepare materials, adapt to the company system, work hard to make new business contacts, communicate well with them, and close deals. I will have to learn so many things, not only the superficial aspects but also the underlying aspects. That is why I must learn. I must learn everything. As a new employee, I will join the company with a willingness to learn and become a hard-working employee. I will not keep what I learn to myself, but will always put it into practice diligently. I will keep in mind that there are always new trends and new people, and that we must continue to develop, and I will become a person who is always learning new things. I will work hard without forgetting this attitude of learning, practicing, and learning again, and I will become an indispensable member of ○○ Convenience Store. I will work with the ambition to become a driving force behind ○○ Convenience Store’s expansion beyond South Korea and into the world. Thank you very much.
Strengths and weaknesses
“Just do it, no questions asked.”
The strength of my personality is “do it.” I always tell myself to “do it.” If I think, “Should I go on a trip?” I just say, “Go!” and don’t worry about what I need to do to go, or whether I should go or not. That’s why I’ve been able to win many titles and contests. I have also been able to travel to various places and meet many people. The same is true when meeting people. When I meet foreigners, I don’t worry about what to do because they are foreigners or because Germans are said to be reserved. Instead, I just think, “Go for it!” and approach them. When I talk to people directly, they also break down their walls and approach me. Based on that experience, I have lived my life with the mindset of “let’s just do it,” “let’s do it no matter what,” “let’s meet up with friends no matter what,” “let’s meet new people no matter what,” and “let’s climb even mountains that seem impossible to climb.” I will continue to live with this mindset in the future.
An example of a negative trait in my personality is that I am hasty. Another example is that I don’t understand people who take breaks because I am so energetic. To overcome these traits, I tried to work with people in teams as much as possible. When I had part-time jobs, I applied for jobs where I could work in a team. What I learned from this experience is that by talking with people and meeting them often in informal settings, I can understand their patterns and personalities, and I realized that I shouldn’t push them too hard. Therefore, I try to be a little less impatient and spend more time talking with people.
