How should I write my insurance company application letter and explain my motivation for applying?

In this blog post, we will introduce how to effectively describe your motivation for applying to an insurance company based on your experience and values.

Growth

As a child, I was a kid who knew how to find unique fun and enjoyment in my repetitive daily life. I was once sent to live in the countryside due to my father’s business failure, but even though there were no places to play or friends to hang out with compared to the city, I was able to spend my days busy with adventures. My parents felt very sorry for leaving me alone at my grandparents’ house and only being able to visit occasionally, but I was so happy with my life in the countryside that I couldn’t understand their sadness. This was not only when I was left at my grandparents’ house, but also when I had to move around a lot due to my parents’ circumstances. I was not in a position to make stable friends, and my house was always empty, so I learned how to pass the time by finding fun in the little things lying around the house and even in a single stone I found on the side of the road.
When I hear about those days in words, it sounds like a lonely and sad life, but I was a child whose days were always filled with excitement and anticipation. Unless I told people about my childhood, most people would never have guessed what my home life was like. Perhaps it was a form of self-rationalization or temperament that developed as a defense mechanism against my difficult life, but it allowed me to live a carefree life in my own way. I developed various number games using the patterns on the walls and floorboards, enjoyed playing musical instruments by tapping pots and spoons, and counted the clouds passing by the window, so I never had a dull moment.

School life

It was a time when I accepted everything positively, never gave up, and was always cheerful and bright. During my sensitive teenage years, many children compared themselves to their surroundings and felt frustrated, agonizing over why they weren’t born differently. However, I wondered if there was any point in wasting time on such depressing thoughts when nothing would change even if I felt sad. I thought it would be better to use that time to work hard and gradually overcome the obstacles in my life. I realized at an early age that although each child may see themselves as the center of the world, in reality, the people around them do not see them that way at all.
When people found out about my family situation, they would sometimes ask me, “How can you smile like that?” Every time they did, I found their reaction puzzling. I didn’t think that just because I wasn’t as fortunate as others, I had to live with a sad and weary expression on my face. Even in a sad reality, it is possible to find hope, pursue your own joys and values, and discover happiness. I didn’t think it was necessary to be frustrated and belittle your own worth by being influenced by the prejudices of others and thinking, “I’m unhappy, I can’t do anything without the help of others.” And the harder the times were, the more I tried to smile brightly to dispel the dark energy. This is because I knew that the more my shoulders slumped, the more space there would be for unhappiness to settle in.

Personality

Rather than thinking about what I cannot do, I am the type of person who first thinks about what I can do, clears my mind, and then takes action. This is because if I spend too much time simulating and calculating in my head before even starting a task, I am likely to miss the right timing to jump in and end up getting caught up in the wrong cycle. I have always been a person who has had more negatives than positives in my life, so when I focused on my birth and environment, my thoughts would go round and round in circles. In order to break that cycle and lead myself in a more positive direction, I gradually refined my ideas into simple and clear forms so that I could come up with only simple and clear strategies in my head. This was because if I continued to leave useless by-products behind, there was a possibility that they would gradually decay into negative energy.
Sometimes, when I encountered difficulties in reality, I felt as if there were walls blocking my life or that I was surrounded by misfortune, but once I became aware of them, their presence grew endlessly, and I found myself stuck in a quagmire from which I could not escape. So, I tried to turn my back on them and continue the chain of different thoughts.

Values

I want to move forward by refraining from dwelling on the frustrations of the past, which had more negatives than positives, and the frustrations of the present, and looking forward to a future where I can create more positives with my own hands. It is said that humans are creatures that are bound to repeat the mistakes of the past, but if we keep looking back and dwelling on the past, we will gradually become stagnant and end up in a cycle where a bleak future awaits us.
If your past is full of painful and sad memories, I think it is better to take your eyes off that point and take steps to move away from it as quickly as possible. If you don’t move forward somehow, you can’t escape the past, and if you remain stuck in the past and continue to look backward, you may make mistakes that prevent you from dealing with your future properly.

Motivation for applying and aspirations after joining the company

My positive attitude, which allows me to find the positive aspects of everyday life rather than the negative ones, and to find small pleasures in situations that may seem boring at first glance, has made me realize that the pursuit of such pleasures can be a powerful driving force in preparing for the future.
In the end, I believe that only those who know and are satisfied with the simple pleasures of life and prepare for the future steadily can look ahead and prepare for it. I believe that the source of the resilience that enables people to persevere without giving up along the way can be found in the joys of everyday life. This made me more interested in your company, which prefers a sales approach that focuses on small things rather than grandiose preparations for the future, and prompted me to apply. If I join your company, I will spare no effort to ensure that this positive energy is conveyed to every customer, and I will work even harder to secure strategies that will give them a sense of security about the future.
