“Good listening and communication skills are also an asset!”
My strengths are that I am a good listener and a good communicator. Of course, these are simple strengths that can be found anywhere, but I still think they are my best qualities, and I believe that because of these qualities, I could even go to the desert and survive by swimming. I once had an experience like this. When I was in college, I went on a field trip with my classmates, but the person in charge of the money lost his credit card. Fortunately, we were able to stop the card, but we couldn’t go to a bank in the countryside, so we ended up wandering around with no money. We were lost and hungry, and 15 of us had to go hungry until we could find a bank. Then I found two pieces of pottery discarded under a telephone pole. At first glance, they looked quite old and in good condition. I immediately picked up the pottery and went to a junk shop I had passed earlier. Then I started talking, which I was good at. I began to explain how important this pottery was, adding a little lie. And I listened carefully to what the man said. I listened intently so that he could become an important and great person. We sold the discarded pottery and were able to get enough money to stay at a jjimjilbang (public sauna) until the next morning. As you can see, I am a good speaker and listener. Based on these skills, I would like to join XX Company and become an employee who faithfully leads the FM business. Thank you very much.
My weakness is that I have a hard time saying no. As someone who likes to listen and talk to people, I am very affectionate, so I tend to have a hard time refusing requests. I know that this helps me get along well with people, but I think I need to be more decisive at work, so I will work on improving this weakness. Thank you very much.
Hobbies
“Rock music, bringing out my passion and spirit.”
My hobby is rock music. I like reading books, watching movies, and just sitting around enjoying my hobbies, but when I’m really stressed out, I turn up the music loud and dance like crazy to relieve the stress. What I like even more is the stories behind rock music. Rock bands all have their own stories and have gone through hardships, so they each have their own stories to tell. There was a band that sang in the streets while living on the streets because they had no money, people who gave up all their music when their friend’s leg was in danger of being amputated and waited over 10 years for him to recover before starting music again, and even vocalists who gave up their lives for their music. I also think they are reckless, but on the other hand, I am amazed that they can work so hard for one thing and burn with such passion for one thing. That’s why I listen to rock music and enjoy it whenever I feel tired and exhausted. Listening to their music and feeling their passion helps me regain my own passion and fighting spirit.

“Holding a school festival at an orphanage.”
While attending college, I did volunteer work once a month. When I could afford it, I did volunteer work twice a month. My volunteer work consisted of helping students with their lessons at an orphanage, acting as a mentor, and going on trips with them during school vacations to make good memories. The most special experience was holding a school festival. Each student had a talent. Some were so talented that there was an elementary school student who could already play Chopin’s Etude Op. 10 No. 1, and there was a student who was so good at singing that he could become a singer. There was also a student who dreamed of becoming a musical actor and danced in front of a mirror. Some students wanted to become scholars, and others wanted to become painters. I didn’t want to ignore their unique characteristics, and I thought that they should be showcased in front of an audience at least once. So, I came up with the idea of a school festival, and I worked hard not only to prepare for the festival but also to promote it, handing out small pamphlets in front of subway stations and posting announcements on social media. Then, like a miracle, many people came to the venue we had planned, and we were able to hold the school festival happily. What I felt at that time was that people are warm and that there are many things we can do. I want to continue to do my best and live with joy when I have goals in the future.

“Two points I wasn’t ashamed of, 100 points I wasn’t ashamed of”
I once got a score of two in math. At the time, I was a child who loved experiments, and I spent most of my time in the science lab preparing for a high school chemistry competition, which led me to achieve the remarkable feat of getting a score of two in math. In other words, out of a test with a perfect score of 100, I got 2 points because I only got one question right. At that time, I was called to the math teacher’s office and was severely punished, but I wasn’t ashamed or upset at all. I thought that math was important, but since I didn’t care about it and got such a low score, I deserved to be punished. Another thing was that I was passionate about doing what I loved and what I was focused on, and since I am only one person and have only 24 hours in a day, I thought it didn’t matter because I was passionate about what I thought was important. Then, I remember getting a perfect score once. After that, I thought my math teacher would be upset, so I studied math diligently and always got 100 points. I realized that math was an interesting subject that could be applied once you understood the principles. And I am not ashamed, but proud, because I believe I earned that 100 points on my own, without tutoring or help from others. That’s how I spent my days, living an uneven life but with my own principles.
Future plans
“I will work meticulously and diligently by understanding the market and my work thoroughly.”
I had many dreams since elementary school. I wanted to be a teacher, an explorer who would explore the whole world, and a physicist or scientist who would make amazing discoveries. However, among them, I wanted to become a worker leading the FM business at XX Company. This is because I wanted to do business. In particular, there is no other country that utilizes land and buildings as efficiently as Korea. People in Korea live on relatively small land while utilizing it. Therefore, I was particularly interested in real estate business and sales. So, I dreamed of starting my first job at XX Company.
I am a quick learner. Therefore, if you entrust me with work, I will not ask questions about every little thing, but will understand the work on my own, research it, and learn from my seniors by observing their work, so that I can become a diligent employee. I look forward to working with you.
