Growth

I have loved soccer since I was a child. I wanted to enter high school as a soccer player, but my parents strongly opposed it, so I ended up attending a vocational high school due to my poor grades. I enrolled in the electrical and electronics department, and since my family’s financial situation was not good enough to support my studies without a scholarship, I decided to study hard. However, I lacked basic knowledge, so my efforts did not pay off. Moreover, the more I studied, the more I felt that I was not good at studying, which made me feel intimidated, and my grades got worse and worse. When I felt that it was the end, it was my parents who gave me hope. Once, when I was so upset about my studies that I was crying with my face buried in my hands, my parents quietly called me over. They told me that I didn’t have to go to college if I didn’t want to. They said it didn’t matter if I didn’t make a lot of money. They just wanted to see me smile. Since then, thinking of my parents, I didn’t give up. I searched the internet and asked my friends who were good at studying, and little by little, my grades improved, and I eventually became the scholarship student I wanted to be. Based on this experience, I didn’t give up and was able to enroll in and graduate from the Electrical Control Department at XX University. Since then, my parents’ financial situation has improved, and now it remains a very valuable experience.

 

My achievements

I was most confident in running. When I was running powerfully through the wind, I couldn’t think of anything else and could concentrate solely on running, which I enjoyed. I feel like I have spent the last year running with the same concentration as when I was running. I prepared for various technical certifications in order to study more specialized knowledge. I passed the written exams for several certifications, including the electrician certification, and I am still working hard to fill in the gaps in my knowledge. One of the reasons I am working so hard is because I believe that I must keep up with the times. I believe that not settling for the status quo and continuing to work hard is the best way to prepare for an uncertain future and survive. That is why I always keep my finger on the pulse of the times and prepare thoroughly for everything. That is why I believe I am an essential member of the team at XX.

 

Strengths and weaknesses

My strength is that I never lose my passion. It would be a mistake to think that passion is simply working hard. Passion means taking responsibility for the work you are assigned and seeing it through to the end without giving up. I believe this is the most basic requirement for any job. Passion also includes perseverance. Passion to see things through to the end is only possible with perseverance as a foundation. Of course, this strength can also be a weakness. In other words, I am not selective. However, I have overcome this weakness and turned it into a strength. It is another side of my passion, which allows me to face difficult tasks head-on without fear.

 

Hobbies

As you may have guessed, my favorite hobby is exercise. I like any kind of exercise that involves running. That’s why I always participated in early morning soccer and basketball clubs while studying.
I also really enjoy winning in sports. Of course, a fair win is a true victory, but even if I don’t win, I can accept the result because I gave it my best and have no regrets.
I believe that my hobby of sports has greatly helped me cultivate my passion, perseverance, and spirit of challenge.

 

Reason for applying and aspirations

○○ Co., Ltd. has contributed greatly to the industrial development of Korea in various future growth businesses such as chemicals and energy. I am aware that the company is now moving in a future-oriented direction, utilizing energy and supporting an eco-friendly economy. The reason I am applying to ○○ is because I want to prioritize the development of the company and social contribution through research and achievements in the energy field, which is the field I am applying for. Compared to graduate school, where support and achievements are limited, I know that ○○ has the conditions necessary to fulfill my dreams.
