How can you utilize your internship experience in your production engineering self-introduction letter?

In this blog post, we will introduce strategies for effectively incorporating your internship experience into your production engineering self-introduction letter and appealing your practical skills.

Growth

Throughout my life, my mother has always emphasized the positive energy of laughter. She decided to marry my father because she wanted to make him smile, and she not only transformed my taciturn father into a positive man, but also raised my sister and me to be cheerful and healthy people. Perhaps influenced by my mother, I was able to play the role of a cheerleader both at home and at school. Dinner time was the most enjoyable part of my day. Unless there was something special going on, my father always tried to have dinner with the family, and during dinner, we would talk about our days, share our worries, and tell funny stories, which helped us grow closer as a family. At school, I actively participated in class, creating a classroom atmosphere that made my teachers want to teach, and as a result, my classmates also participated actively, and my class always had the best atmosphere.
My father emphasized the importance of responsibility. As a child, I had many interests, but I often started things without finishing them. For example, I wanted to learn to play the piano, so I asked my parents to enroll me in piano lessons, but when I realized that I couldn’t play well no matter how much I practiced, I quickly lost interest. I had enthusiasm when I started something, but I quickly lost interest. My father told me to take responsibility for what I decided to do and see it through to the end. So, I started hiking with my father once a week. My father wanted me to learn perseverance and patience, so he took me hiking. I gave up many times halfway up the mountain, but in the end, I experienced the joy of reaching the summit. I learned that if you endure the difficult moments, you will be rewarded with indescribable joy. Based on the perseverance and patience I learned from climbing with my father, I will do my best in my social life.

School days

I had a pleasant and cheerful adolescence and went on to major in computer engineering. I really enjoy working with others on research projects. Rather than sitting alone in front of a computer, I find it much more helpful to work with others to approach problems and seek solutions, and to explain and verify my ideas with my friends. I think I was able to actively demonstrate my leadership skills while organizing and participating in a computer engineering club in my department. Wanting to make the club more active, I decided on topics for each meeting and assigned roles to each member to ensure that the meetings were well organized. I believe this is why the club was able to continue for so long. Without assigned responsibilities, people tend to become passive in club activities, and I was concerned that eventually only a few people would participate and the club would fall apart. So, I made sure that all members took responsibility for their activities, which helped strengthen our bonds. I also participated in a contest with like-minded friends by creating a computer program. In collaboration with my friends in the mechanical engineering department, we combined the robots they made with our programs to create various robot movements, which won the grand prize in a contest. This led to an opportunity to visit a research institute in Japan. Meeting the researchers at the institute reaffirmed my passion for learning. Realizing the importance of language, I began to study English and Japanese with renewed vigor. Through that connection, I became friends with a senior researcher at a Japanese research institute, and I think that talking with him about academic topics helped me deepen my knowledge and improve my Japanese.

Strengths and weaknesses

The most important thing in everyday life is not only to speak well, but also to listen well. In that sense, I think my ability to listen to others is one of my greatest strengths. As a team player who creates a cooperative and positive atmosphere, I sometimes have to take the initiative in conversation, but in personal encounters, I tend to be more of a listener. I believe that listening carefully to others is one way to become a good speaker. I believe that listening attentively to others has helped me build trust with those around me. I am also a responsible person who takes initiative in my work. As a child, I had a tendency to start things but never finish them, but through mountain climbing with my father, I developed a strong mental attitude that allows me to persevere and achieve my goals no matter how difficult they may be. Having tasted the joy of achievement, I have made countless efforts to enjoy that joy again. Whenever I felt like giving up, I reminded myself of the joy of achievement and was able to overcome the difficulties. Through this process, I was able to develop an attitude of doing my best. This is because I realized that the more I do my best, the more likely I am to achieve my goals.
On the other hand, I realized that my impatient personality could lead to mistakes. So, I started learning kendo to learn to live with a more relaxed mindset. Kendo helped me build physical strength, but it also helped me cultivate my mind.

Work experience

While attending university, I worked part-time at XX Tech, where I was in charge of computer network management. I also participated in computer server maintenance and management work and obtained a certification. It was not easy to balance work and school, but I think it helped me learn more efficiently. I felt that I didn’t have much time, so I was able to concentrate and make the most of every minute. As I developed my skills, I enjoyed seeing the range of things I could do expand. So, I challenged myself to obtain various IT certifications, including ○○○, to build up my skills. I also gained sales skills while working as an intern in the technical sales support department. Since it was most important to become an expert, I devoted myself to learning about the company’s technical field after joining the company. While building relationships with business partners based on my expertise, I came to believe that mutual trust is the most important thing. I will strive to achieve the best results based on my expertise and trust.

Motivation for applying and aspirations

Grace Hansen said, “Don’t be afraid that your life will end. Be afraid that it may never begin.” I believe that my life is a continuous cycle of happiness that will never end. Therefore, I don’t prepare for the end, but rather strive to continue living my life forever. The continuity of always starting over enriches my life and allows me to think positively. I believe that my way of thinking will have a positive effect on others. I will actively demonstrate this bright and positive energy at your company. I believe that the outcome of any endeavor depends on how you think about it. I believe that a company made up of members who are armed with positive and progressive thinking is a place full of energy for growth. I am confident that I can play a major role in creating such an atmosphere. If you give me the opportunity to join your company and demonstrate my abilities, I will take the lead and set an example for my colleagues. I will also work hard for the company with a positive attitude and a smile on my face.
