Sales Management Self-Introduction Letter: How to Describe Customer Experience

In this blog post, we will introduce specific examples of how to effectively describe customer service and management experience when writing a sales management self-introduction letter.

Growth

“A smart child with a good attitude”
My father, who was a civil servant, always emphasized the importance of having the right attitude in life. He taught me that it was most important to never lie and never covet what others have.
From childhood, when I received my allowance from my parents, I would write it down in a notebook and show it to my father. If I used my allowance wisely and saved some, he would always praise me and give me extra allowance. If I wrote in the log that I needed more allowance because I was having trouble making ends meet, my father would give me extra allowance the next time if he thought it was reasonable. By developing this habit of planning my spending and saving steadily from an early age, I was able to develop a sense of financial awareness at an early age.
My father taught me the importance of being sincere and polite in my daily life, so I was always a good and smart student at school. I never tried to cheat or cut corners, and I worked hard, which earned me the trust of my teachers and the respect of my friends. This attitude carried over into my social life, where I was recognized as a sincere and consistent person.

Personality and strengths

“A person who works systematically and achieves results”
I am meticulous and systematic. Therefore, no matter what I do, I check my work two or three times to ensure that there are no mistakes. I have been recognized for my ability to work efficiently by planning the details of my work with a focus on the ultimate goal.
Because I work systematically, I am able to push forward with my work smoothly and without any obstacles, and I always finish my work ahead of schedule. I am also thorough in managing my performance, and I have received commendations as an outstanding employee.
I am lively and active, and I have a wide range of interpersonal relationships. In groups, I take on the role of organizing complicated and tedious tasks so that everything runs smoothly, which has earned me the trust of my colleagues in any organization.
I am logical and persuasive, so I am good at leading people. Until college, I used to go on trips with my close friends during every vacation, and we took turns planning the itinerary and making reservations. However, during my sophomore summer vacation, the friend who was in charge of planning the trip failed to check the bus schedule, and we were stranded. We didn’t have enough money to stay an extra day, so we were in a difficult situation. My friend who was in charge of the trip was in a tight spot, but instead of wasting time blaming him, I suggested that we look for a solution. We asked around and found another bus that would take us back, albeit with a slight detour, and we were able to return safely.
I think it is important to plan ahead and solve problems as they arise, so people sometimes say that I don’t have much free time. I tend to work hard and don’t know how to relax, but my friends have helped me overcome this.
I believe that people who know how to enjoy their free time can work more efficiently and enjoy their work more, so I try to separate my work time from my leisure time.

Social experience during college

“Recognized for my sincerity while working part-time.”
During college, I worked part-time in a department store logistics team unloading goods and selling clothes. While working at the department store, I was in charge of unloading goods and delivering them to each store in the logistics team, and I was offered a part-time job at a clothing store because they liked my cheerful attitude and hard work. I was recognized for my work and was able to work under better conditions, so I worked even harder and more actively.
As it was a clothing store, I thought it was important to consider the flow of customers so that they could shop comfortably, and to display the most attractive products in the most visible places to encourage sales. So, I paid attention to coordinating the main products to look more stylish than in the catalog photos, and I remembered the preferences of regular customers who frequently visited the store so that I could recommend products that suited their tastes. Most of the recommended products were sold, which greatly improved store sales. By always keeping the store in the best condition to welcome customers, we were able to provide the best service to our customers.

Career

“Know-how gained as a learning management teacher at a competitor”
After graduating from college, I worked as a tutor at a learning center for three years. I increased the number of members from 10 to 50, and I was able to maintain a high retention rate by providing thorough study plans and attentive counseling to each member. Whenever I visited a member’s home, I placed the highest priority on connecting with their previous studies, and I accurately communicated the student’s learning progress to their parents through consultations. By working meticulously and sincerely, I gained the trust of parents, and they often recommended other members to me, allowing me to steadily increase the number of members.
As a result of my hard work, I received the highest evaluation in terms of the number of new members and the retention rate of existing members during the winter vacation special promotion, and was commended as an excellent employee. I was even more proud to receive a four-night, five-day trip to Thailand as a reward, which I gave to my parents as a gift.
I am confident that my work experience will be a great asset in performing sales management duties at your company. I am confident that I can successfully perform my role in improving sales performance and supporting member management and retention rates.

Reason for applying and aspirations

“The driving force behind Kyowon’s change and innovation”
I also studied with Kumon when I was in junior high school. The textbooks were designed to enable in-depth learning through application problems in addition to the curriculum, which helped me improve my learning effectiveness.
I worked as a teacher at a competitor’s learning center for three years, so I have a good understanding of the characteristics of each learning center. I communicated with members with a proactive attitude and positive mindset, and gained their trust by sharing my work skills with my colleagues. Through these experiences, I have developed my own know-how on what is most important in managing members.
When I take on sales management duties at Kyōin, I will apply the know-how I gained while working as a teacher to improve sales performance.
Kyōin’s management value lies in customer management that impresses customers. I will become a driving force for change and innovation at the Kyōin Group by creating new and creative value that impresses customers.
