How do you combine ideas and emotion in your creative design cover letter?

In this blog post, I’ll show you how to write a creative design cover letter that combines your creative ideas with emotion, and how to present them in a way that resonates.

Growing up

Born as a late child, I was raised by my father and mother who were very affectionate. My parents were very polite, and I think they were worried that I would grow up to be spoiled as an only child. My parents always emphasized being polite, and they would scold me for rude or spoiled behavior more than any other misbehavior. As a result of this upbringing, I was praised by my teachers at school, and I was often praised by my friends’ parents for being polite. This environment naturally instilled in me a sense of respect for adults, and I have always gotten along well with my peers, which I think is reflected in my advertising ideas. I think it’s most important to be polite to people regardless of their age, and the closer you are to them, the more polite you should be. This is an attitude that I’ve held as a belief throughout my life, and I think it will definitely help me in my future life.

Academic life

In college, I was active in ○○, a national university advertising club. I developed my dream of becoming an advertiser by listening to the real-life stories of seniors in the club who worked in the advertising industry. I admired their ability to get ideas from everyday life and realized the importance of thinking differently and coming up with novel ideas. I used to cringe when I saw the entries in advertising contests, wondering if my skills were too weak. However, this anxiety became my strength and helped me to work even harder. For four years, I continued to submit entries and eventually had the pleasure of winning the grand prize in the college student advertising contest organized by ○○. On the day of the award ceremony, my whole body shook with joy, which was a reward for the tears and sweat I shed while working all night to prepare for the contest. Through participating in the contest, I was able to meet many like-minded people. I was able to exchange information with other contestants I met at the awards ceremony and continue to meet and expand my network. I also participated in my advisor’s project, which was to create a public service announcement for environmental protection. It was a full-page advertisement in a newspaper, and it was not an easy task from coming up with the idea to designing it. Finally, it was published in the newspaper, and I was very proud of how people responded to it. I think it’s this feeling that makes you want to give up and try again.

Personality strengths and weaknesses

I’m very sociable, and I think that’s helped me get along with people all over the world. I’m polite, not in a distant way, but in a way that avoids taking commitments lightly or using friendship to make up for mistakes. I think this is the secret to my ability to maintain long-lasting relationships. I often take on leadership roles because people trust me and follow me. I think the fact that I stick to the basics and do my best at what I do gives others confidence in me. I also listen carefully to others to make sure I’m doing my job as a leader. I believe that ideas are the lifeblood of advertising, and that a good mix of opinions can be very effective, rather than just one person’s opinion. I think my open-mindedness to gather different opinions will be a great advantage in the job.

Work experience (or something that shows your work skills)

I used to draw caricatures in the park near my home, using my drawing skills. I wasn’t trying to make money, so the prices weren’t high, and there were many people who asked me to draw them out of curiosity. I believe that drawing them helped me develop my observational skills, because a caricature is more about capturing the person’s characteristics rather than a realistic portrayal. I believe that this experience will give me the foundation to showcase my observational skills in my ad design work.

Motivation and aspirations

I want to create ads that make us think. I want to create ads that can make people feel the importance of life and warm the hearts of those who see them, based on novel ideas about things that we often pass by in our daily lives. With this goal in mind, I don’t let any object or situation around me go to waste. I would like to work with your company to create ads that are novel and touch the hearts of the viewers. Your ad concept that touches people in unexpected places is what I am looking for in an ad. I will endeavor to be a real asset to your company, and I sincerely hope that you will give me the opportunity to demonstrate my skills that I have honed so far.
