How can you convey your motivation for applying to a flight attendant training program and introduce yourself in a compelling way?

In this blog post, we will introduce ways to convey your sincerity and empathy for the role of a flight attendant trainer based on your experiences and dreams of becoming a flight attendant.

My upbringing

I remember my first trip abroad when I was a child. I had ridden in cars, taxis, subways, and trains, but unlike other modes of transportation that had to stay on the ground, the feeling of racing down the runway just before takeoff and then suddenly rising into the air was so different that I was completely mesmerized. Leaving for my relatives’ home in the United States, I had to endure a long flight, which was quite a long time for a child traveling alone for the first time. Soon, the excitement and anticipation of the first moment gave way to boredom, unfamiliar motion sickness, and dizziness. My parents had little experience flying, so they could only do so much to calm me down.
The flight attendants were the ones who took care of me and calmed me down, and they were the ones who got me to my destination. With their beautiful faces and smiles, they wore pretty uniforms and asked me questions and took care of me with kindness, and as a young child, I was shy and grateful. I wondered if this was how it felt to be served by Miss Korea contestants and celebrities on TV. If they had made a mistake, my initial excitement would have turned into a painful and boring memory of motion sickness, and I might have been afraid to fly for the rest of my life. But they made up for it with their unwavering spirit of service. From that moment on, I naturally began to dream of becoming a flight attendant like them. I was deeply impressed by their consideration and kindness in making passengers feel at ease in an unfamiliar environment, which is far from the concept of simply providing service to customers.

School days

I had dreamed of becoming a flight attendant since I was a child, but I faced many obstacles due to my circumstances. My desire to become a flight attendant who flies through the skies, reassures passengers, and creates happy memories for them was clear, but no matter how much I wanted it, it was very difficult to enter an industry where physical appearance is so important. When I realized that my personal characteristics did not fit the criteria, I felt somewhat frustrated. However, when my parents asked me if my hopes were so fragile that they would be shattered by the reality of the situation, I was filled with unwavering passion.
If I couldn’t become a flight attendant, I would find a job in a related field where I could support them. Even if I couldn’t enter the world of the job I had admired so much as a child, there were countless opportunities available to me, such as working in the aviation industry or entering the flight attendant training industry. Even if I felt that reality was limiting my abilities, I realized that there were ways to overcome those limitations, and I spared no effort in searching for the best way to pursue my career path. I did not dismiss my childhood passion as a passing fad, and my efforts since then have led me to apply for a position in the flight attendant training industry at your company.

Strengths and weaknesses

I am a persistent person who does not give up easily, even when faced with obstacles. I firmly believe that if you want something badly enough, you can achieve it. This is because I believe that the hardships and limitations we face in life are not caused by natural disasters or the laws of nature, but rather by other people, and therefore can be overcome through human effort. My relentless efforts have not always led to the results I hoped for, but rather than giving up when I reach my limits, I always strive to achieve something better, and as a result, I have always achieved better results than I expected. I believe that humans are made to look beyond their current position and strive for something better because we have a vision that allows us to see far into the future.
Some people advised me that it would be better for my mental health to admit that some things are impossible. They said that I sometimes looked pitiful, relentlessly pursuing goals that were clearly beyond my reach. However, I do not want to stop trying and seal my potential just to make myself a little more comfortable physically or mentally, so even if it means sacrificing myself, I will never stop trying to go beyond the horizon.

Motto

Human effort overcomes countless hardships. Sometimes we lament our human nature, which is inherently weak and limited, and block our own potential. We are frightened by assumptions such as, “It’s impossible anyway, so why bother trying?” or “I don’t want to try something that is obviously impossible and end up frustrated.” We use convenient excuses such as, “I don’t have the right connections or assets, I’m not as talented as others, and I’m not lucky,” to justify our shortcomings.
However, even if you make those around you understand your incompetence, nothing will change. Rather, it is tantamount to providing grounds for others to temporarily eliminate you from their consciousness. By belittling your own value and allowing others to unconsciously look down on you, you will become frustrated, thinking that you are indeed worthless. If you don’t take the initiative to make an effort, your standing will naturally decline, and you will inevitably be pushed down the path of voluntary decline.

Motivation for applying and aspirations after joining the company

As a child, I cherished memories of being served by kind flight attendants, and I wanted to become a flight attendant myself to make many people happy. However, I had to change my direction because I could not overcome the realistic limitations of my appearance. However, rather than giving up on my dream or blaming the world, I worked hard to find a job that would allow me to apply my skills. It was then that I became interested in your company, which has unrivaled expertise in training flight attendants.
Although I was unable to achieve my dream, I wanted to stay in a place where someone would always make my dream come true. My firm belief that people cannot always have everything they want and must make appropriate compromises and compromises to enrich their lives was enough to inspire me to actively help many prospective flight attendants grow and train while working at your company, and to develop a strong desire to play a clear role in the industry.
