My parents had a difficult childhood, and they opened their shop with the goal of living a “human” life more than anyone else, so they tried hard to ensure that their employees also had a “human” life at their shop.
Growing up in my parents’ shop, I learned that all people are equal, regardless of whether they are employees, customers, or bosses, and that if you don’t want to be treated unfairly or looked down upon by others, you must not create such a cycle of bad practices yourself. Most of the part-time employees who worked at my parents’ shop, where they were treated with trust and respect, were good people who worked there for a long time and spoke highly of my parents, saying that it was rare to find bosses like them. School life

My parents treated not only their employees but also their children with respect and taught us to establish proper standards for living. They also taught us to form positive relationships with friends who were good for us. Thanks to them, I was able to build friendships based on mutual consideration and respect. Even if I was in a position of superiority in a relationship, I always listened to my parents’ teachings that it is a virtue of being human to protect the dignity of others, and that no matter how close a relationship is, it is necessary to observe basic manners and be careful not to hurt each other’s feelings. The saying, “The closer you are to someone, the more you should observe basic manners and be careful not to make mistakes,” was a little difficult for me to understand when I was young, but it was a virtue that I gradually came to realize through repeated interactions with many people.
People inevitably form close bonds with many others in their lives, so once you start establishing your position in a hierarchical relationship, there will inevitably come a time when you find yourself at a disadvantage, and you will have no choice but to accept the unreasonable treatment you receive in return for having looked down on others in the vertical relationship. This was a lesson my parents always emphasized. When you first entered society, you did not want to repay the sadness and resentment you felt from not being treated properly to others, but rather break the cycle of hardship and lay the foundation for a society where everyone could live together in mutual respect. Having grown up as a member of society thanks to my parents’ guidance, I always kept their words in mind and worked hard to contribute to a society where everyone treats each other with respect.

 

Personality

I am not someone who is obsessed with getting ahead on my own, but rather someone who values progress made by working together with others. This is because most of the work that people do in society is generally done as part of a company or team, and trying to go ahead on your own will inevitably lead to discord. No matter how beautiful the middle melody of a song is, if the notes around it or at the beginning and end are difficult to hear, even that part will not be properly appreciated and will inevitably be swept away. Similarly, no matter how capable and motivated you are, if you run at your own pace, you will end up in a ridiculous situation, like two people running a three-legged race without knowing how to work together.
In today’s society of endless competition, some people argue that you have to prove your worth by standing above others in order to survive. However, I believe that long-term growth is only possible when everyone develops evenly and learns to maintain balance. Therefore, I strive to achieve explosive synergy through unity, rather than acting alone.

Let’s live our lives to the fullest, enjoying the unique characteristics of humans, who must work together in groups to survive. We often hear people say that humans are weak and have limitations, citing these characteristics as disadvantages that prevent us from living independently. In nature, weak creatures must form groups to overcome their natural enemies, and humans have also had no choice but to continue living as they do today in order to survive. However, just as the evolution of humanity gained explosive momentum from the collective thinking and ideas of many people, the foundation for the establishment of our current civilization, which overcame physical limitations and transcended the constraints of reality, came from our ability to live together and work together.
Therefore, we must be aware of the inevitability of humans living together, recognize how much progress this has brought to our lives, and understand what efforts we must make to pass this on to the next generation. We must not see ourselves as isolated individuals, but realize our responsibility as a bridge connecting us to our descendants.
