As a child, I was a kid who always made steady progress, even when no one was watching, and achieved my goals through consistent effort. Unlike other children who quickly lost interest in new things and had trouble concentrating unless adults were watching them, I did not stand out in anything, but I was patient and persevering, and I always produced results in the end. Even though I did not receive much attention or stand out, my tendency to hide away from the spotlight and steadily move toward my goal allowed me to achieve something magical, and people asked me, “What is the secret to your sudden success?” While others were searching for “secrets” to easily achieve short-term results, I valued the time I spent silently working hard.
School life
It was a time when I was able to steadily improve my grades through a straightforward, textbook-based learning method that did not rely on luck or cramming. I remember many children wasting time searching for well-taught teachers, cram schools, problem books, and study guides rather than solving a few pages of problems right away. No matter how good the textbooks or lectures were, without the effort to absorb the material, it would all be for naught. However, children were excited, as if their grades would magically improve just by solving problems from workbooks used by successful cram school teachers and top students.
However, I believed that everyone was working toward the same arguments and truths in the learning process, and that the only difference was how they explained them. So, I worked hard to forge my own path of independent effort. It would have been easier to follow the path that had already been paved by people with considerable know-how and knowledge in that field, but it would have cost a lot of money, and when faced with irregular problems that had not been well refined, many children were unable to adapt and fell behind. I already had a track record of exploring and pioneering many paths, so I was able to respond to unexpected changes with a steady and cautious attitude, solving problems little by little. It was like a test to see which of two people, one who had only ever used a large company’s finished machine passively and one who had assembled it themselves and solved various problems on their own, would be able to respond more actively to a modified machine.
Personality
I am a person who values sincerity above all else and quietly moves forward. The journey to reach one’s desired goal varies greatly from person to person. Some may find shortcuts with their quick minds and easily climb to the top, while others may take the easier route by learning from those with more experience. However, I believe that it is difficult to maintain the endurance to work steadily without relying on such help or luck. People who are born into affluent circumstances and have had everything come easily to them are not accustomed to overcoming difficulties on their own, and those who have only received expensive education may struggle to find their way without guidance. However, people who have forged their own path from the beginning without luck or expectations will be prepared to face any hardship, because they have learned to persevere through hard work. even if the journey is long and arduous, they will be prepared to face any hardship and keep moving forward.
People have said that I am too stubborn, but I wanted to have the energy to never give up, no matter how long it took, so I used my perseverance and patience as my greatest weapons and worked silently to achieve constant results, which has brought me to where I am today.
Values
I believe that it is important not to have excessive expectations in order to view the world positively. If you buy a lottery ticket thinking that you will definitely win, the probability of disappointment will be as high as the probability of failure. However, if you buy a ticket without excessive expectations and just hope for a small win, even if you win a small amount, you will feel lucky.
Just as chance visits are rare and therefore more meaningful, I want to always have reasonable expectations so that I don’t end up relying on luck alone for my life. It’s like buying a large cake. When you eat it once on a special occasion, the cream and fruit make it taste delicious and special, but if you eat it every day like you eat rice, you will lose sight of its value and sweetness.
Motivation for applying and aspirations after joining the company
I have not been blessed with good luck or talent in my life, but because I am well aware of my reality, I have been able to approach my work with perseverance and patience, and I have developed the ability to steadily move forward. I believe that my personality, which allows me to find shortcuts to easily achieve my goals, dismiss sudden changes in the world as mere delusions, and believe that only my sincere efforts will bring about results, will create a positive synergy at your company, which values sincerity as a virtue in its employees.
If I am given the opportunity to work at your company, I will not recklessly hope for luck or dream of miracles, but will maintain an attitude of relying solely on my own abilities, believing that all my hard work will serve as a stepping stone to build my career and hone my skills.
