How can you reveal your motivation in your application to the Electronic Information and Communication Industry Association?

In this blog post, we will discuss how you can connect your major and experience to your motivation in a convincing way when applying to the Electronic Information and Communication Industry Association.

Growth

When I was a child, my parents always tried to set proper family rules and standards through family discussions. They always showed respect to me and my siblings so that we would not be swayed by their whims or arbitrary logic and judge the world incorrectly. They made sure we knew what was right and wrong, and even when we did something wrong and were punished, they made sure we clearly understood the cause and effect of our actions. Even when they sometimes lost control of their impulses or emotions and scolded us, they would immediately apologize for not acting as elders should, and through their example, we gradually learned the rules and social principles that must be followed in order for people to live together.
My parents tried to raise me with a balanced perspective so that I would not grow up to be someone who prioritizes their own feelings and desires to the point of harming others, or someone who is so oppressed by social constraints and norms that they cannot express their own individuality. As a result, I was able to build smooth relationships with my friends, always setting an example of good social skills. Even if I have personal feelings, I should not express them in a way that could negatively affect others, and I should always behave appropriately within the bounds of acceptable rules and regulations. In order to be a role model for my younger brother and teach him by example, I was able to take the initiative, follow the rules, and practice strict self-discipline so that I would not lose control of myself.

School days

Remembering my parents’ words that my behavior would become my younger brother’s habits, I tried to be a good role model not only for my brother but also for my friends and younger students. Compared to the time when I could do whatever I wanted at home, living with many people and always having certain obligations and restrictions was inevitably frustrating, but I believed that in order to live a proper life in a society where I had to interact with many people, I had no choice but to learn such an attitude. Just as a pet dog must be trained to tolerate a leash or harness, humans must learn and apply the rules that have been established over a long period of time in order to properly integrate into civilized society.
This made me think a lot about how, whenever I enter a new group or relationship, I must be mindful of my position and duties, which will differ from person to person, and exercise flexibility in my behavior. I was the eldest daughter in my family and a student at school, but I didn’t live my life based on that simple profile. When I started a part-time job, I became a new intern, and when I joined a volunteer organization, I became a helper who supported and cared for people. When I worked as a teaching assistant, I took care of my junior students while helping my professors with their work. I needed to be flexible enough to change my appearance as needed and adjust my speech and attitude accordingly. Just as our status and position can change dramatically, we must also be flexible and adaptable like a chameleon in order to respond to those changes.

Personality

When I join a new group, I always make sure to learn the rules and culture and work hard to follow them. Many of the people I work with have followed the same path, so I believe that if I stray from it, it would be an insult to the long history of the group. In addition, I believe it is necessary to take a proactive approach to learning, rather than passively accepting it, and to actively seek guidance and refine myself. The world is always open to those who are motivated and proactive, and if you make a mistake, you may miss the right timing and fail to learn the right social skills.
Furthermore, rather than trying to make my presence known by taking unconditional risks or throwing out fresh ideas, I believe that it is important to first familiarize myself with the rules of the group and try not to cause excessive discomfort, and only then, once I have integrated and gained a sense of stability, can I put forward new opinions. This is because unconditional “novel ideas” or obsession with work without making any effort to integrate and blend in can cause even greater alienation.

Values

I believe that humans become human beings only after undergoing proper socialization. We are not born knowing how to communicate or interact with others. Without proper teaching, our language centers would not develop, and we would become creatures roaming the wilderness according to the laws of nature. Therefore, it is extremely important for humans to learn the appropriate procedures for integrating into society. Humans are not perfect when they are born, but that is precisely why they have such rich potential. Therefore, it is extremely important to go through a transitional period and a growth process to determine how to fit oneself into society.
Therefore, I believe that it is extremely important to learn the rules of society while still in a state of ignorance and move forward, and that those who are responsible for providing appropriate teaching and control methods must strive to raise children to become proper members of society. This is because humans cannot grow properly from their initial state of immaturity on their own.

Motivation for applying and aspirations after joining the company

My parents taught me the duties and rules I must follow as the older sibling who looks after my younger siblings, and they always explained in detail how these rules have a reasonable cause and effect within our family and how I should grow up to become a socially competent person. With their help, I have developed a strong sense of security in rules and frameworks, and I have become a person who knows how to correctly implement the rules of society. I believe that this is consistent with your company’s philosophy of establishing a systematic and proper framework for your business and ensuring that everyone works within appropriate standards, which is why I decided to apply for this position.
If I am given the opportunity to work at your company, I will strive to become a talented individual who can always exert appropriate influence and utilize my abilities within the framework without breaking the rules. Inheriting traditions and rules means accepting even restrictions as necessary boundaries that define the characteristics of a group, and it requires constant effort to develop oneself in accordance with those boundaries. Therefore, I want to grow as a person who respects history while striving for new developments, without rebelling against the implications of those traditions and rules, but rather striving to understand them properly.
