At the end of 2008, the financial crisis caused the securities market to deteriorate, and I was about to take early retirement when a customer recommended me for a position as branch manager at a newly opened branch. First, in order to lead the branch in harmony with my colleagues, I always started the day with a smile, and that smile spread from the branch employees to the customers, resulting in the second highest annual sales among 11 branches in 20 years. I was also able to smoothly handle the liquor license acquisition issue, which was a difficult problem in the early days of the branch, and grew to become a branch manager recognized by the company.

When I was studying abroad, I had to earn my own living due to my family’s financial difficulties, so I was looking for a part-time job and found an opportunity to work as an assistant electrician. As a result of studying and working steadily for a year and a half, I was able to acquire various skills, from installing electrical wiring in homes to installing lighting systems in stores.
Although these skills cannot be used in actual securities work, I did my best to make them my own, even though they were not in my field of study, and I also did my best in my work as an electrical assistant. Although I did not major in electrical engineering, this experience has given me a special skill and made me appreciate the appeal of an active and challenging life.
