My father, who has worked for the same company for over 30 years with a sincere and honest attitude, taught me the importance of sincerity and hard work in life. My father, who gets up early every morning without fail to exercise, taught me the importance of a diligent lifestyle. Under his influence, I developed the habit of getting up early in the morning and approaching everything I do with sincerity.
When I was a child, I always had many friends around me and spent my time actively playing outside rather than staying at home. Because of my active lifestyle, I still enjoy exercising and making friends, and I value relationships with others. That is why I try to see the good in people when I first meet them.

 

Life philosophy and strengths and weaknesses

My life philosophy is “never give up.” I have a calm and cautious personality, and I like to get along with people. I am usually quiet and reserved, so people find it difficult to approach me at first, but those who know me well say that I am actually more cheerful.
My strength is that once I take on a task, I never give up, no matter how difficult it is, and I keep working until I complete it. When I was a squad leader in the military, I helped a squad member who was injured during a march, and as a result, our squad received an award from the battalion commander. I have learned through experience that if you have conviction, you can solve any problem, and that you can overcome any difficulty if you don’t give up. That is why I believe that my greatest strength is my perseverance.
I have a clear sense of what I like and dislike, which can be a weakness in some situations, but I have overcome this by learning to be flexible through my social experiences outside of school, where I have developed a wide range of relationships with people.

 

Work Experience

During my college years, I tried to gain social experience in addition to my studies. As a result, I joined ○○○ Mart as soon as I entered college and worked there steadily until the second semester of my junior year. Through this experience, I learned firsthand how important it is to get along with people, and my work experience at ○○○ Mart was a valuable time in my life where I gained social experience in addition to my studies. Based on this social experience, I changed my attitude from “I can’t do it” to “I’ll give it a try.”
While working at ○○○ Mart, I learned that a small amount of expired products came in every month, and the store manager said that it was unavoidable due to the nature of the store. However, when I calculated the annual loss, I realized that it was a significant amount, so I suggested changing the first-in, first-out system, where employees had to take out all the products from the shelves, to a system where the shelves could be easily rearranged. As a result, we were able to reduce the monthly loss. I believe this was possible because I tried to create a better environment by being proactive rather than passive. Because I worked with this sense of ownership, the store manager wrote me a recommendation letter and encouraged me to apply for the assistant store manager position. However, I politely declined because accounting is what I like and want to do.
I became interested in accounting while studying it at university, and above all, I try to enjoy it. I currently hold a Level 1 Computerized Accounting Certificate, which allows me to use the Dozon program. I have also taken the Level 2 Computerized Tax and Corporate Accounting exams and am awaiting the results, so I will be able to perform year-end tax adjustments and tax-related tasks. In addition, I hold an MCAS Master’s Certificate, which certifies my advanced OA skills.

 

Reason for applying and aspirations after joining the company

Even if the product is the same, each company has a different image, and that image plays an important role in consumers’ product selection. I thought that “○○ Co., Ltd.” had the image of a professional and challenging young company. My goal is to pursue my dreams at such a progressive company, so I decided to take on this challenge with courage.
When I first chose accounting as my major, everyone around me thought it was a difficult subject, and I thought so too. However, after studying accounting, I realized that it is not simply a matter of calculating money, but a method of communication for the entire company. I was attracted to the idea of minimizing future losses by analyzing past losses and minimizing risks by predicting future accounting information, and the more I learned, the more I enjoyed studying it. Recently, while studying “accounting auditing,” I learned how important the role of a certified public accountant is, and I find it very interesting.
I try to do everything thoroughly and perfectly. I believe that this personality trait is essential for accounting work, and I am confident that it will contribute to the growth of XX Co.
