Can I write about my mistakes in my operator self-introduction letter?

In this blog post, we will show you how to effectively include your mistakes in your operator self-introduction letter and how to emphasize your sense of responsibility and potential for growth.

Growth

“Do what you can do now.”
I am the second of three brothers. Compared to my friends, I had a lot of siblings, so from a young age, I was used to being around many people and working cooperatively. However, when I was very young, I was quite jealous. I looked up to my older brother and wondered why I wasn’t treated like him, and I looked down on my younger brother and felt that the love he received was taken away from me, which made me feel hurt. So I think I was always the second child who threw tantrums and envied my other siblings. At that time, my father called me and told me not to complain so much, but to do what I could do now and be grateful for it. He said that complaining means that you are unhappy, and that if you want what other people have and envy them, you will lose sight of what you have. I didn’t understand it at the time, but as I grew older, I realized that my father had taught me the secret to happiness. Since then, I have always been grateful for what I have and have worked hard at what I can do with a sense of gratitude. So, after high school, I decided to take responsibility for my own life and live a good life, working hard even when no one was watching. When I entered university, I earned money to pay for my living expenses and tuition fees and lived a steady life.

School days

“Finding my dream”
Until junior high school, I had no dreams. I just liked playing with my friends. There were many fun things to do with my friends. My parents thought I might be getting into trouble because I came home late every day, but we were just playing around in a healthy way. I liked collecting things, and there were times when I didn’t notice the sun rising because I was busy catching dragonflies and butterflies. Another time, we got together to fix someone’s watch, but we ended up having so much fun discussing how to fix it that we stayed up all night working on it. I also had a friend who loved horror movies and wanted to be a film director. He had a lot of classic horror movies at his house, and we would laugh as we watched horror movies that were scarier than we had expected. However, after spending my junior high school years like that, I said goodbye to my precious friends and entered high school, but I had no idea what I wanted to do. So, I wandered aimlessly for a while. I went to a commercial high school, where everyone wanted to find a job, but I didn’t know what I wanted to do, so I just drifted through school. Then, by chance, I remembered how happy I was when I played with machines as a child. While doing practical training, I repaired a machine and realized that I was good at it. So I decided to become a technician. Once I had a goal, I felt that the time I had spent aimlessly was a waste, and my life began to be interesting. I enjoyed my classes and worked hard to obtain certifications. Eventually, I obtained the industrial engineer and machine technician certifications I wanted, and based on that, I diligently prepared for college.

Strengths and weaknesses

“Once I start something, I see it through to the end.”
The greatest strength of my personality is that once I start something, I see it through to the end. When I set a goal, even though I was later than others, I was able to steadily work toward it during high school thanks to my consistent personality. I am often told that I am sincere because I am persistent once I start something. I am not a genius, but I am good at my job because I don’t try to cut corners once I get used to it. I also heard this often while working part-time. Furthermore, when I first entered the university to study mechanical engineering, my friends said, “We can’t afford the tuition, so we should just play around since we’re college students,” and gave up on everything and started drinking. and gave up on everything and just drank, but I calmly started working, saved up little by little, and began my life. I also attended classes diligently and earned good grades. That is why I believe I was able to prepare for employment at your company. Through this consistency, I will strive to become a person who contributes to your company by working consistently. I look forward to working with you.
The downside of my personality is that I am cautious, so I am not good at making quick decisions. Because of this, people say that I lack flexibility, but they also say that I am sincere and meticulous in my work. I will work hard to ensure that my caution does not become a hindrance. I look forward to working with you.

Work experience (or experience that demonstrates your work skills)

“My first part-time job, where I learned through mistakes”
I worked part-time during my vacation at my first internship. It was a mobile phone parts manufacturer located in a factory near Kuro, and since it was my first job, there were many things that were more difficult than I had expected. It was easy when I was doing one task, but when I had to do two or three tasks at the same time, it was difficult, and when there was a lot of work, I was confused for a moment and didn’t know what to do. So I made a lot of mistakes and even broke some parts at the factory. If my boss hadn’t scolded me and taught me so harshly, I don’t think I would be able to do my job as well as I do now. Because I was young, I worked really hard and learned my job on the production line through trial and error. As a result, I was able to learn quickly and become the most skilled operator at the factory.

Self-improvement

“Read books.”
I liked technology and practical work, but I wasn’t a big fan of reading books. I was more the type who enjoyed going outside and playing. However, as I worked, I realized the importance of reading books. This is because communication is essential in the workplace. It was also necessary for me to become wiser. No matter how familiar I became with my work and how much I learned through repetition, I needed to understand how to get along with people. Being able to understand people and communicate well made my work easier. That’s why I started reading books, and now I love reading so much that I read at least one book a week. I always read before going to bed at night to relieve stress and end the day calmly.

Motivation for applying and aspirations

“I will work diligently, with unyielding dedication.”
When I joined your company, I made one promise: that I would be diligent. I am a person who is grateful for what I have, grateful for the opportunity to work, and grateful for my ability to do something. Based on this gratitude, I want to work diligently, almost to the point of ignorance, so that I don’t ruin things because of me, but rather make things go well because of me. If you believe in me, I will work hard. Thank you very much.
