How to Write a Personal Statement that Emphasizes Fairness and Responsibility for a Management Position

In this blog post, we’ll show you how to write a personal statement for a management position that emphasizes fairness and responsibility, and how to effectively showcase your core competencies.

Growing up

My father is a surgeon. He used to be a professor at a university hospital, where he was very strict with his students, and now he’s the director of a private practice. A doctor is someone who doesn’t tolerate any mistakes. Nowadays, my dad has a private hospital and does most of the work himself, so he doesn’t boss me around as much, but he used to be very good. It was especially bad when I was younger, and I was so shy that my mother had to tell him not to be so hard on his children, and even she got yelled at for it. My dad was very particular about personal hygiene and made sure we washed our hands and feet every time we went outside, but one day I didn’t because I thought it was a good idea when he went on a business trip. When people don’t do what they normally do, they get sick, and the next day I caught the flu. My father was very worried when he saw me like that, but I thought I was going to blame him and got sicker. My father took me to the hospital and let my mother stay at home while he nursed me back to health. Fortunately, when my fever went down and I was stabilized, I was able to open my eyes. But when I opened my eyes, I started crying because I thought of seeing my father in front of me and hearing his voice again. When I cried, I thought he was going to yell at me again, but he hugged me without saying a word and asked me if I knew what I did wrong. I told him that I didn’t hear him tell me to wash up after I went outside all the time. He said it was okay because I knew what I did wrong and had the courage not to lie to him, and he told me that if I knew what I did wrong, I shouldn’t do it again. I was so touched by his words that I knew he was very worried about me, and I said I would never do it again. From then on, I grew up with the principles of always keeping my promises to my father, the courage to never lie, and the attitude of making amends when I did something wrong.

Life Creed

One of my favorite Bible verses says, “Ask and it shall be given to you. “For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who seeks finds, and to those who knock it will be opened.”
What this means is that if you ask hard enough, you will eventually receive; if you seek hard enough, you will find; if you knock hard enough, even closed hearts will eventually be opened; in other words, nothing is impossible. I always believe that nothing is impossible, and I’m not talking about monetary things, I’m talking about the belief that if you put in the effort, you will always get something in return for that effort, so I always try my best.

Personality Strengths and Weaknesses

I have a strong sense of perseverance and responsibility, so when I am faced with something, I try to persevere and see it through to the end. I don’t know if it’s because I was raised by my father, but no matter what, I don’t get excited easily, and I tend to calmly assess the situation. And if something goes wrong in the process, I always calmly identify the problem and solve it to the end. I’m also positive and proactive, and I have a strong will to solve any problem. I realize that sometimes this personality can put tension and pressure on the people I work with. I’ve also been told not to be too assertive, but when I’m around people who understand my style of pushing through things, I feel more energized and do a better job.

Motivation and Aspirations

I believe that managing people and managing things should always be fair and without favoritism. People don’t all look the same; they have their own opinions and subjectivity, and the same person can look good or bad to different people. But I believe that when we evaluate those people, the criteria should be objective and fair. I always try to be objective when I look at a problem or a person, and that’s why I applied for a management position.
If I were to work for your company, I would like to be the kind of person who can always be trusted to do things fairly and objectively, to treat people objectively, to make sure that the company makes a profit, and to use all my passion to constantly change and develop with your company.
