In this blog post, we will show you how to express in a natural and convincing way in your cover letter that you are a good fit for an insurance company.
Growing up
As a child, I had to realize early on that crises in life were not just something that happened to other people. Due to my father’s business failure, I had to move around a lot, and I grew up with a vague sense of anxiety, wondering why only my family had to live such a difficult life. Unable to express those feelings, I had to comfort and reassure my younger sister, so I just swallowed my feelings. I felt responsible for my sister, knowing that if I broke down, she would have no one to lean on. Looking back, it was my sister who kept me on track during those difficult times. I had a sense of duty to hold on tight to my roots so that I wouldn’t be tossed around like a piece of driftwood, and that’s why I was able to stay on track and maintain my balance.
I also realized that I had to work hard to give my parents new hope. I thought that if I gave up and chose to live a reckless life just because my parents couldn’t provide me with a peaceful environment, it would hurt them just as much. I never lost hope, did not blame my parents for my life, and did my best to do what I could to get my life back on track. As a result, I studied hard and achieved excellent grades. I also took charge of my sister’s studies and helped her achieve results that were on par with other children. As a result of not giving up hope and my role even in desperate situations, I was able to secure a future for myself.
School life
It was a time when I was conscious of my family circumstances, which were often compared to those of other children, but I did not give up and worked even harder to do my best. Sometimes, when the weight of my responsibilities became too much to bear, I would look at my friends’ lives and feel regret that I had not been born into a normal family, but I knew that lamenting my fate would not solve any of my problems. If complaining could solve all problems, my family’s debts would have been paid off long ago, and my younger sibling and I would have been able to live happily with many privileges. However, even if my parents spent the whole night sighing and discussing our future, when I opened my eyes the next day, nothing had changed, and I had to take the same steps as always to continue my unremarkable daily life.
Whenever I lamented the regrets of my life, I used them as motivation to move forward with vigor, and I developed the attitude of not giving up and steadily moving forward toward the future. Every time I looked back on my reality and sighed even more, I thought that I had no choice but to be trapped in its shadow, so I did my best to take even small steps faster and more frequently to widen the gap between myself and reality. Even so, I couldn’t completely shake off my feelings of inferiority, and I still sighed from time to time, but at least I was able to hold my head high and look forward. I was determined to forge my own future with even more enthusiasm, without being held back by the limitations of reality.
Personality
I am someone who values hope for the future more than the limitations of reality and prepares thoroughly for the future. Although humans are inevitably influenced by their environment, I do not believe that this determines their future. Life is full of unknown variables, and unless people establish the independence to shape their own lives, they are likely to give up and succumb to the misfortunes that sweep away everything they have achieved. We believe that we should not be satisfied with the status quo in any situation, but rather remain alert to the possibility that a new turning point may arise, and live our lives without letting our guard down. This is because whether our lives turn out to be good or bad depends entirely on our own efforts and preparation.
For this reason, I tend to be somewhat strict with myself, and people often tell me that I should relax and enjoy myself a little more. However, I believe that by working hard every day, I will be able to enjoy more in the future, so I always try to maintain a careful attitude.
View of life
I want to continue the spirit of challenge that I have had since childhood throughout my life. I grew up experiencing some misfortune, and at times I felt the urge to give up on life and felt despair that no matter how hard I worked, the world would not reward me. My younger sister played the role of a counterweight to keep me from going astray, but she couldn’t provide me with a reason deep in my heart to accept this reality. It was literally a life of “living without giving up because I couldn’t go astray.”
However, as I gradually became resentful of the misfortunes that had befallen me and began to explore what preparations and efforts were necessary to fight back, I decided to take on the challenge. I was no longer a punching bag of fate, but a boxer wearing boxing gloves, fighting back and looking for an opening to land an ambitious punch.
Motivation for applying and aspirations after joining the company
As a child, I had a somewhat turbulent life, but rather than wondering why I had to live a different life from my friends, I tried to use those crises as a stepping stone to turn my life around and as a turning point to work harder than anyone else. Just as heroes emerge in turbulent times more than in times of peace, I have endured many hardships that have spurred me on to work hard, and this has allowed me to demonstrate my sincerity in pushing myself forward according to standards that are much stricter than those of others. I believe that this fits well with your company’s philosophy of valuing people’s efforts above all else, which is why I decided to apply.
If I join your company, I will strive to do my best from the perspective of the customer, drawing on my own turbulent life experiences to gain a deeper understanding of their concerns and provide them with products that meet their needs. I have also deeply engraved in my heart the fact that life is not an omnipotent force that can knock people down unilaterally forever, but that if you come up with a good strategy to face it with sufficient preparation, you can always find opportunities to fight back.
